Most clients who see me do so because they’ve been carrying a heavy burden for far too long - this could be a physical pain, a mental/emotional pain, or a combination of the two.
For many women, this manifests as tension or discomfort in their jaw, neck, shoulders, back, or other areas of the body. They work tirelessly to provide for the needs of others, at the expense of their own. With little to no time to pause or rest, these women weren’t living, but merely existing - things like relaxation, joy, calm, and safety, felt like unattainable dreams.
But things changed for them. And it can change for you, too.

This is what I do.
I’m a certified Myotherapist - which means that while yes, I do massage, it’s more than ‘just’ a massage. With a Bachelor of Health Science, I have a deep understanding of your body, how it holds stress, anxiety, and tension, and how to relieve these to leave you feeling great in your body.
But healing tension is more than just about the body - it’s about your heart and mind, too. This is why I combine the science and practical side of Myotherapy, with the power of Feminine Embodiment Coaching.
Using this combined, holistic approach, I create a space where you can unburden yourself without judgement, where you can come and be heard, respected, and healed.

Myotherapy is an evidence-based form of holistic healthcare, focussing on how you use your body, and the ways this impacts pain that shows up in your body.
Many people don’t notice the tension they hold in their body - have you ever caught yourself clenching your jaw? Hunching over? Holding your breath? These are just some of the most common root causes of chronic pain in the body.
By giving you a safe space to feel truly heard and valued, and with hands-on soft tissue treatment, Lauren will get to know your body deeply - listening to both you, and your body, for what it needs in order to feel at its best, so that you can feel your best, from the inside out.
Lauren is recognised as a provider for Private Health Fund rebates - Myotherapy is covered under ‘extras cover’.

Is a form of coaching where you are guided to quieten your mind, and bring awareness to what’s happening inside your body.
Firstly we create a sense of safety and trust by letting your body lead, always.
This style of coaching prioritises depth over direction, honouring your body’s capacity and safety when it comes to feeling. It prioritises feeling and inhabiting your whole self. Empowering you to honour the truth within your body, and find your own embodied personal power.

I love spending time by the ocean, relaxing with my family and sipping on gin.
I live in Turrbal country, North Brisbane, with my husband Tim and my two children, Buddy and Niamh. As a mum and business owner, I know what it’s like to experience the overwhelm of busyness of modern life. But I also know that it’s the life-altering experiences that can shape how our body and mind feels as we go through life: in my 20’s, I sustained a significant injury after a trampoline accident. Some time after that, I was diagnosed with throat cancer, which in itself is a tumultuous journey.
Having experienced these things, I know what it’s like to want for greater sensitivity and awareness of bodily or emotional trauma. This is why my focus is holistic: helping you feel better not just in body, but also in mind and soul.
My journey began with a desire to help others who’d encountered similar challenges, but couldn’t find someone who gave them space to feel heard, valued, and respected, as well as healed. I wanted my clients to walk away from our sessions with a renewed sense of calm; a peace that translates to all aspects of their life.
Through rigorous scientific study, mentoring with experts in my field, and years of practice, I’m now honoured to offer this space for all who need it.
And as for my sense of relaxation, at the end of the day I love to put my feet up, eat good food, and just chill out.
That, or a bath with a glass of wine (often joined by my toddler!)
